OBJECTIVES OF THE ACCOMPANYING CONFERENCE PROGRAM
WARSAW INDUSTRY WEEK 2023

Warsaw Industry WeekInternational Fair of Innovative Industrial Solutions, this is already the seventh edition of the fair, which will take place on the following dates: 4-6 listopada 2025.

Every year, these fairs are accompanied by a conference, which is organized under the motto „Gear of Industry 4.0”.

The substantive partner of the conference is the Center for Industry 4.0 at the Silesian University of Technology, which prepares the conference program in cooperation with the Future Industry Platform Foundation.

Each edition of the conference focuses on selected issues that are particularly important for industrial activities and address the key challenges faced by entrepreneurs engaged in such activities.

The aim of these conferences is to discuss current and upcoming challenges and to present the trade fair participants with opportunities to overcome these challenges through innovative solutions that align with the concept of Industry 4.0. Additionally, it involves presenting mechanisms and support measures for their implementation

“The conferences are important events accompanying the trade fair, and they are organized in a format that allows trade fair visitors to combine attendance at the conference with visits to exhibitors’ stands. This format means dividing the conference program into one-and-a-half-hour thematic blocks. There are 45-minute breaks planned between the individual blocks. Each block includes 4-5 presentations, each of which should not exceed 18 minutes.

It is assumed that the main goal of the presentations is to engage the audience in the given topic, trigger associations of presented issues with their own challenges, and demonstrate the possibilities of overcoming them, as well as presenting best practices in this area. Within the allocated time frame, there is no opportunity for detailed presentations of solutions or product and service offerings. To facilitate in-depth discussions between presenters and interested conference participants, the organizers of the fair provide a space for individual meetings located in the immediate vicinity of the conference room. It is possible to label individual tables with emblems of presenting companies and institutions and to place informational materials there.

Participation in the conference, both for presenters and attendees, is free of charge. Registration on the Warsaw Industry Week website is required to obtain an entry pass to the fairgrounds.
