Industry 4.0 Tools – Digital Passport: Opportunities and Challenges for Industry
The Digital Product Passport is a new element of manufacturing operations; it will serve as a mandatory component for individual products, providing comprehensive, online-accessible information based on data gathered throughout the product's entire lifecycle. EU regulations — followed by national legislation—mandate the use of the Digital Product Passport, starting with batteries from February 18, 2027. Subsequent product groups subject to this requirement will be introduced gradually and include, among others: tires, steel, aluminum, textiles, electrical and electronic equipment, construction materials, and toys.
The imminent implementation of the Digital Product Passport necessitates urgent preparatory action by enterprises.
The conference aims to raise awareness of this topic, outline the regulatory framework, showcase implementation best practices from other countries, explain the operational context, and provide guidance on effectively integrating this component into daily business practice.
The Digital Product Passport represents not only a regulatory obligation but also an opportunity to enhance product value - an aspect that will also be highlighted during the conference.

Operational resilience in industry. From safety to business continuity.
4 | 11 | 2026
Industrial Operational Resilience: From Security to Business Continuity.
For years, the primary question in the industrial sector was: how can we produce faster and more efficiently?
Today, a different question is increasingly coming to the fore: how can we maintain uninterrupted production—despite mounting threats, changes, and unforeseen events?
A modern factory must be more than just fast and efficient; it must be resilient.Polish industry is facing a new wave of transformation. Investments in automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and digitalization are coinciding with the introduction of new regulations, such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act. At the same time, enterprises must contend with cyber threats, the risk of downtime, the growing complexity of production environments, and the pressure to ensure business continuity.
None of these challenges can be solved by a single technology or a single vendor. Industrial operational resilience emerges at the intersection of diverse competencies: automation, robotics, IT and OT systems, cybersecurity, and engineering expertise. System integrators play a pivotal role in this process by combining solutions from various manufacturers into a cohesive, secure, and reliable production environment. They are the ones who translate technological potential into tangible business outcomes: enhanced security, reduced downtime, and greater production flexibility and stability. The Polish Automation and Robotics Forum conference will demonstrate how to build operational resilience in enterprises in practice. The starting point will be the real-world challenges manufacturing plants face daily, while the core of the program will feature case studies presented jointly by technology manufacturers, system integrators, and industrial enterprises. It is precisely the collaboration between these sectors that enables the creation of solutions that not only address today’s challenges but also prepare organizations for future ones.
Participants will explore practical implementation examples, key regulatory requirements, and solutions designed to enhance the safety, reliability, and continuity of production processes.
The conference will demonstrate that operational resilience is no longer merely an aspect of risk management; it is a fundamental operational imperative.

“Technology alone is not enough. It’s the trust between those who create it and those who use it that defines the future.”
— Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft
In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution — where the boundaries between the physical, digital, and biological worlds are becoming increasingly blurred — trust in technology has become the foundation of modern industry.
Automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital twins, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) are already reshaping production lines, supply chains, and business models.
But is that enough?
At this year’s conference, organized by the Forum of Polish Automation and Robotics (FAIRP), we will explore a key question for the entire industrial sector:
Are advanced technologies alone sufficient to drive the transformation toward the industry of the future — or do we also need a change in organizational culture, new skills, and trust between humans and machines, engineers and algorithms, companies and ecosystems?

Digital Rebellion on Board – Implementing Change in a Culture of Resistance
Jakub Kaczyński – Industrial Portfolio Director
Trust in technology is the cornerstone of successful industrial transformation — but what happens when, instead of enthusiasm, you face a digital rebellion on board?
You invest in cutting-edge technologies and follow the latest trends (IoT, AI, automation, digital twins, UNS), yet employees, managers, or technical teams resist new solutions.
Even the most advanced systems mean little if people don’t trust them — cultural resistance can derail even the best-designed digital project.
This presentation will show you how to break that impasse.
You’ll learn how to identify and address the root causes — from fear of change to lack of trust in data — and turn skeptics into allies of innovation.
You’ll see real-world examples of projects that overcame these barriers, along with proven strategies for building trust in technology and data at every level of an organization, and designing pilot initiatives that engage people and deliver measurable results.
A practical and inspiring session that ensures no “digital rebellion” will derail your transformation.

Wacław Bylina – Sales Engineer, Asix System, ASKOM
In the era of increasing automation and digitalization of industry, the role of humans in control processes is undergoing significant transformation.
While the operator remains a key decision-making element, they are also the most error-prone — both intentionally and unintentionally.
This presentation will show how modern technologies support operators in their role and minimize the risk of human error. It will discuss solutions that enhance efficiency and workplace safety — from operator-assisting systems such as exoskeletons to advanced SCADA systems that enable data collection from industrial assets, process parameter monitoring, automatic reporting, and integration with higher-level systems, including the cloud.
It will also present how cloud-based solutions and artificial intelligence can support decision-making processes, transforming the operator from a potential “weak link” into a strong and conscious component of the entire control system.
