A debate dedicated to the education of engineering personnel for Industry 4.0.
During the debate we will define the challenges, present good practices for
improvement of key competencies of engineers and we will look for new
directions of development. In the debate, we plan to include both the voice of representatives of
industry, employees, as well as students, educational institutions and researchers. In the final
part of the discussion we will address the challenges and formulate conclusions on the desired
directions of development of the engineering education process for the needs of Industry 4.0.

Expert in asset management in asset-oriented organizations: manufacturing, energy, mining and transportation companies. Specialist in technical management, organization of maintenance departments, development of reliability processes and optimization of maintenance flows. Strongly focused on improving practical cooperation between operational and technical departments. Arek has developed and managed numerous projects focused on improving asset management throughout the EMEA region. He permanently serves as a senior consultant/expert in projects related to reliability and maintenance management, CMMS/EAM implementations and CAPEX project management.
He has developed more than 15 asset management strategies (SAMPs) for medium and large organizations.
Mr. Arek has conducted 150 open trainings and numerous dedicated courses. Privately, Arek is a sailor and an amateur in hand-to-hand combat.
